Our program teaches individuals to perform routine inspections for a safer working environment. Sessions will follow all Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development regulations and best practice guidelines.

safety-mattersOur objective is to provide enough information and hands-on training to enable you and your staff to comfortably perform a racking inspection so that one could record any issue and/or damage within your racking systems and to have in place a proper method to report the findings.

Sessions are conducted on site with each employee receiving a certificate of completion once the training is finished.

Training will run approximately 5 to 6 hours with several breaks and a lunch. Sessions are comprised of three parts:

CLASSROOM PRESENTATION

We provide on site training seminars to instruct employees how to perform routine inspections of racking and storage systems to ensure a safer environment is available for all personnel.

We supply information packages to each person attending the training seminar as well as a certificate of completion once the training has been completed.

The objective is to provide enough information and hands-on training to enable your staff to perform a racking inspection and record any issue and/or damage within your racking systems and to have in place a proper method to report the findings.

FLOOR WALKABOUT and PHYSICAL INSPECTION

We will walk through the racking systems within the facility, aisle by aisle, and mark down any issue we discover within the time constraint we allow.

The ideal scenario is have on hand a layout of the racking within the facility to easily record the locations, type of damages, and the relevant information required for further review.

FINAL REVIEW

A discussion of the findings and proposed solutions is had, and we determine a simple manner in which to log and report the issues noted.

The Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development is an advocate for good housekeeping and is appreciative when companies have a method in place to routinely inspect their racking systems.
